Till the season for coughs and colds, but this natural antibiotic will be your go to to help boost your immune system. I’ve been making this for years as it contains some of the best immune boosting ingredients. This is a holistic substance that is filled with immune boosting properties that will aid in healing and boosting the body from the inside out.

I have given this to both of my children, but it has to be used with caution. Honey should never be given to children under 1 year old because of the risk of infant botulism.

This natural antibiotic can be taken multiple times a day. Additionally, you don’t have to wait until you need it. You can also take 1 tsp in the mornings on an empty stomach for preventative coverage. Another use, which is my favorite, is adding a spoonful to my tea. But also keep in mind, honey should not be added to hot liquid. It kills the live enzyme properties. If you want to add it in, wait till the tea is lukewarm and then mix in with a wooden spoon to keep the full benefits.

Turmeric, another powerhouse superfood, has some of the highest science backed nutritional properties on earth. Both honey and turmeric are great alone, but mixing them together increases their power exponentially. With the addition of cinnamon, pepper and ginger, you have one of the best disease fighting substances your body will respond to.
