If you’re looking for garden inspiration, encouragement, and motivation to trust the process, this post is your gentle nudge. This month brought my very first garlic harvest—something that felt both intimidating and humbling. Planting garlic last fall felt like a step of faith. I tucked it into the cold earth, unsure if it would flourish. But here we are: dirt-stained hands and a harvest I can hold. This is what May is about—trusting that what you planted in faith will rise in its time.
It would’ve been easy to skip planting garlic. I questioned if I had the time, the skill, or the knowledge. But I’ve learned that growth rarely begins with certainty—it begins with obedience. God isn’t asking us to have it all figured out. He’s just asking us to plant. You may be looking at a dream, a prayer, or even a daily discipline that feels too small or too scary. Let this be your reminder: do it anyway.
The Bible says, “Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up” (Galatians 6:9). Garlic didn’t grow overnight. Neither will the good things you’re hoping for. But that doesn’t mean they aren’t growing. Beneath the surface, God is always working—both in your soil and in your soul.
So here’s my encouragement to you: take the step, plant the seed, and stop disqualifying yourself before you’ve even started. Whether it’s a garden bed, a business idea, a new habit, or a bold prayer—do it scared, but do it anyway. This season is about trusting God with the growth, and being proud of yourself for showing up in the planting.

👆🏽 This solar fountain is the cutest, and I love that it comes with multiple different types of water ways. The filter is easily cleanable and I actually love that it only works if sunlight it directly on it. It gives off the most calming trickling water sounds!
