When I started these guides 3 weeks ago I had a plan to do weekly shares not just of one topic, but rather a good mix of multiple things. But I have to be honest, these past two weeks have been personally challenging. My faith has been stretched, my mind has felt every emotion possible and my body has felt weak. And for some reason, I feel like I may not be alone. So I want you to know today, if you are going through a valley or a season of uncertainty, you aren’t alone. I pray these encourage your heart and bring you peace right here in this moment.
Isn’t it interesting how the same advice we give others we very rarely believe for ourself. Today I want you to believe the same thing you just told that friend who doesn’t feel like she has a hope for tomorrow. Today I want you to look at yourself the same way you admired that beautiful stranger you passed today. The only way we can fully love others the way God wants us too is by first accepting that same love for our own hearts.
I know one thing for certain, at the end of the day, we do have required responsibilities, but I also know that what is most important is how well we loved others and how well we let go of the things that won’t matter tomorrow.
We must never forget that peace isn’t a plan, a place or a solution, it’s a PERSON and His name is Jesus.
I want to remind you of something: a seed can only bloom by being buried. Just because you can’t see anything today doesn’t mean it isn’t growing into something to harvest tomorrow. Don’t lose hope.
Hey You!! Don’t forget that 30 years ago people were pursuing dreams and cultivating progress without anyone knowing anything, because cellphones and social media wasn’t around. But that still didn’t mean it wasn’t being done!!
Remember this: You don’t need validation from the world to verify your impact in the world!!
Keep pursuing.
Keep working.
Keep resting.
Keep trying again.
Keep dreaming.
Keep surrendering.
No matter who or what is clapping for you!
“I am passionately in love with God because he listens to me. He hears my prayers and answers them. As long as I live I’ll keep praying to him, for he stoops down to listen to my heart’s cry.” Psalms 116:1-2
