I’ll be honest, if I had to choose one dessert over anything, it would be Brownies or cheesecake.. so why not join them together into a heavenly chewy Cream Cheese Brownie!
Who doesn’t love brownies?
Oh.. & who doesn’t love cream cheese?
Because these two were meant to be together forever! And I promise you, you may not want to share 🤷🏼♀️
Cream Cheese Brownies
Ingredients
Cream Cheese Filling:
- 6 oz cream cheese softened
- ½ cup non-fat plain Greek yogurt
- 3 Tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 Tbsp all-purpose flour
Brownie Batter:
- ¾ cup all-purpose flour
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 6 oz semi-sweet baking chocolate chopped
- 8 Tbsp unsalted butter
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 Tbsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Whisk cream cheese, Greek yogurt, sugar and flour together until well blended and set aside!
- Preheat oven to 325. Line a 8×8 dish with parchment paper.
- Mix together flour, salt and baking powder in a medium bowl.
- Microwave chocolate and butter together in 15 second increments. Mixing between each, until well blended!
- In another medium size bowl mix eggs, vanilla, and sugar. Stir in the melted chocolate butter mixture. Add this to the flour mixture and stir until well combined.
- Pour brownie mixture into pan, reserving 1/3 of a cup in the bowl. Then spread cream cheese mixture on top on brownie.
- Take the 1/3 cup reserved brownie batter and spoon it over the cream cheese. Use a toothpick to swirl the cream cheese to the brownie.
- Bake for 50-60 mins until toothpick comes out clean! Make sure toothpick goes in brownie mix not cream cheese.
