The Good Guide: Friday Five

I’ve missed you!!!!!! (Why am I always so aggressive with my exclamation point use 🙋‍♀️😅) Anyhoo, I don’t know if you noticed that the Good Guide: Friday Five took an unexpected little break for a week, but it felt like months. The past couple of weeks hasn’t been the most productive for me. I’ve been spending much needed quality time with G, now that he is out of school, and it just feels like my days and weeks fly by in an instant. But I still have quite a few projects planned over at The Fisher House, that you do NOT want to miss. One of them being an outdoor project I’ve had planned for over a year… I just need it not to rain for 5 days in a row. Is that too much to ask living in the south in the summer 😬

obsessed…with this new tool! Sounds dramatic but this is seriously the best I’ve ever used! So thankful my sweet DIY friend shared this!

eager to try… I don’t know why I’ve never tried it, but I have had a huge love for these ever since I was a teenager. I think it’s time to change that!

👆🏽 I thought this was a scam when I saw $8 for two 24×24 pillow covers. But they are legit and super high quality! The stitching is so gorgeous!!!

👆🏽 AGAIN, not to be dramatic, but these pillows we have had now for 2 years have been LIFE CHANGING. It has eliminated my neck pain and I love the way it holds shape but is still cozy soft!

Linking my silk pillow case as well.. Ladies, if you don’t use a silk pillow- do yourself a favor and let it speak for itself. The benefits for your skin and hair are amazing!

This week’s share is no surprise , because I talk about her all the time. She has been a constant source of encouragement and inspiration since day one. She is also the one that turned me into an ice cream snob with this TO DIE for ice cream maker!!! If you don’t follow Elisha @ouraesthetic_abode run over now and just take a quick look at her impeccable design style and even sweeter heart. She was a home-ec teacher before she decided to hang up her teaching skills in the classroom to grace all of us and across the world with her incredibly easy to follow teaching skills in her home. Here is just a sneak peak of her talent.. which so happens to be one of my new favorite rooms on all of IG. I CANNOT get over that coffered ceiling & pure WOW of that dreamy romantic burgundy!!!
