This past week felt more like a 24 hour period than 7 days. We sat down for dinner tonight, looked at each other and wondered where the time went. Maybe a little deja vu truly, because every week for the past year has felt just like this. Have you felt this way too?
With Thanksgiving and Christmas coming, I feel like my brain spins a mile a minute. Putting gift guides together, planning get togethers, dinners and menus. Carving in actual rest can seem impossible. But I’ve already promised myself that IT WILL be attainable. What matters most always centers around self-care for me! I know I am my best for those around me, when I am my best within me! So here is your reminder to slow down (even when your days are jam packed) and rest. Even if it looks like a 5 min walk outside, I promise you will never regret it!

5. ENCOURAGEMENT!
xo,
For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control].
