In this weeks Friday Good Guide, I really don’t know how it happened but this weekend creeped up on me like a Florida afternoon thunderstorm. IYKYK. There was so much progress made in the pantry, it’s almost surreal. Can you even believe I started this renovation almost 7 months ago? I know, I know.. it’s been a long time coming. But as I always say, “Home Takes Time”. If done right, it truly doesn’t happen overnight. It requires patience, planning and intentional forethought, a lot of love and growth. And when I look back on this journey, that is exactly what I see. A room not just thrown together for the sake of content, but a corner of our home that finally feels like it was always meant to be. What a rewarding journey it has been!

  1. I don’t know how we have lived without this Boston butt recipe but I am thankful we don’t have to anymore. I whipped up the easiest coleslaw plus some homemade sweet potato fries for the side. It was a HUGE hit this week! I think it’s s the rub that makes this recipe OUT OF THIS WORLD. I did add 3-4 extra spices I had on hand including garlic powder, steak seasoning, seasoning salt, pepper and a little bit of parsley. I also scooped out the caramelized onions and just added those on top after the meat was shredded. Oh, and can I tell you, I barely had to touch this meat and it was literally just falling apart it was that tender.

2. The fall/winter boots you didn’t know you needed!!! You can thank me later 🙂

3. The BEST design advice I think I’ve ever heard in my life!

4. A product I’ve used quite a lot this past week and something I ALWAYS have on hand!

5. This weeks FALL FRIDAY is brought to you by these finger licking good homemade Apple Pie PopTarts! J said they remind him of McDonalds Apple hand pies but with the flavor and texture leveled up by 100! I’ll take that compliment! But seriously, the slow simmered apple filling could be a dessert all on its own, I am not lying, you have to make these. I used these two (pastry & Apple pie filling) recipes and added a few extras of my own to spice it up. But seriously you can’t mess these babies up!

6. A few ORC favorites this week!!

You seriously don’t want to miss these transformations! I am always so blown away and inspired!!

7. Your weekly encouragement:

Have a blessed weekend!

Perfect, absolute peace surrounds those whose imaginations are consumed with you; they confidently trust in you.
